The sweetness from the syrup complimented the tartiness/sourness of the creme.The omelette was also alright. I kind of wish I had gotten a dish with eggs and/or meat, but in hindsight I was definitely craving something sweet when I ordered and my pain perdu satisfied that. Brioche pain perdu with lavender honey is the bomb!
